About Indian Shores

The City of Indian Shores hosts waterfront dining and entertaining, provides a public boat ramp, a bank, gas station and convenience store. Our Civitanís club building and the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, the country's largest wild bird hospital, are housed on the sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Recently, the City of Indian Shores replaced its road infrastructure, buried its utility lines, and now offers both pedestrian and bicycle right-of-ways.

Home to over two and one-half miles of pristine beaches, the City of Indian Shores provides nine beach accesses, eight are pedestrian, the large one for parking is Tiki Gardens with facilities and close to the Park Boulevard public boat ramp. The City of Indian Shores provides its own Police Department and Fire Department housed together at City Hall on Gulf Boulevard.  The City of Indian Shores is situated between the City of Redington Shores (182nd Avenue) to the south and the City of Indian Rocks Beach (Whitehurst/First Avenue) to the north.
